The Paddock Wood Half Marathon took place on 5th April.
This can be a deceptive race. Although the course is basically flat, there are a few inclines particularly in the first couple of miles along with some railway bridges. However the course actually runs downhill until Laddingford, shortly before the 9 mile point, before it starts to return to Paddock Wood, so the last 4 miles or so is slightly uphill and often against the wind.
Congratulations to the 2 Waddie finishers who both finished in the top 400 out of a field of 1942. Lynn's time was particularly pleasing to her as it was her best ever. Well done, Lynn!
